Strange Nature has found 3 animals that actually eat their own body! How strange?

sea squirt
The Sea Squirt
The Sea Squirt is known to digest it's own brain! It will do this strange act after attaching itself to a rock.





short tailed cricket
The Cricket
The short tailed cricket has been known to consume its own wings. It is unexplained why they do this.





rat snake
Rat Snake
By far the strangest story of them all. One rat snake was found to be trying to eat itself from the tail up! It died on the second attempt. Another Rat Snake was found in the process of eating 2/3 of its body!

Really? Snake tried eating itself? Maybe it cannot find any food anymore , that is why.
